What's the difference between a Nutritionist and Naturopath?
The difference between Clinical Nutrition and Naturopathy is that a Nutritionist solely focuses on dietary and nutritional needs for the individual, whereas a Naturopath will also prescribe Herbal Medicine and other remedies to treat disease and autoimmune conditions.

When should you see a Nutritionist?
When you have any of the below signs or symptoms:
-
Bloating/gas
-
Constipation or diarrhoea
-
Cramping/abdominal pain
-
Nausea, vomiting
-
Stigma/food guilt
-
Fatigue/difficulty sleeping
-
Mood/anxiety and depression

When you see a Heal’r Nutritionist, your treatment will be holistic, individualised, achievable, sustainable, up to date and based on our years of clinical practice.
What testing can a Nutritionist request?
At Heal'r it is essential to us to understand the underlying cause of a problem, and not just to treat the symptoms. When discussing your health goals and any complaints you might have, our Nutritionist may suggest utilising food allergy testing, gut health testing, or hair mineral analysis testing, which can all be done through Heal'r. Each of these tests offers a different scope into your underlying health and would be suggested specifically in response to the health complaints being discussed.
